In a hundred years I’m going to be me
The me who can see
All the ignorance of
a youth
Who satisfied her heartache with a touch and playful kiss
In a hundred years I’m going to be me
The me who is free
From boundaries of
a past
Who watched as people lived their life in full and boundless bliss
In a hundred years I’m going to be me
The me who is we
Who satisfied her longings with service and
a Love
Who longed for a place where unity and friendship grew limitless
When those hundred years have come and gone, this soul will proclaim
How wonderful the life inside and out has been
The life full of passion and purpose, and full of
Meaning and depth
This soul will proclaim the goodness of integrity and worth
Of faith in the unknown,
Yet wonderment of the hereto come
This new me will rejoice and give thanks for the life
Here below for the sake of the above,
the Infinite
Amen
